Revisiting the 1980s with Julz

ATARI-"COMBAT"

After watching, teenagers sing Queen on American Idol, and eating Chipotle and drinking El Presidente, the BEST beer in the world (I discovered it in the Dominican Republic), and playing Julz's Sony PSP something something video game, which scared me, by the way, as I was tubing along a nice river and was suddenly eaten by an alligator 5 times my size, these graphics were so good, I actually felt like I was getting bitten, and then we played Atari. I realize that was an enormous run-on sentence, but I couldn't decide where to put a period. Period. Well, Julie and I were laughing so hard we were crying. The idea of "Combat" (if you've never played) is that you are trying to kill each other. Foreign concept, right? I am one tank and Julie is is the other. You have a triggor and bullets and you try to shoot your opponent toget a point. Whoever receives the most points by the end of the time (you don't really know how much time you have, you just start blinking...and then you stop) wins. Julz shot me, my tank would spin, it would stop-facing the wrong direction, before I got my barrings, she would shoot me again and I would spin, stopping in the wrong direction...this just kept going for at least 6 points (To Julz, of course). This was the funniest thing I have witnessed in a very long time.
