A Monkey In The Biodome. Picture 3 out of 222. He wouldn't sit still.

My apologies for the rant yesterday. I haven't made any phone calls yet to upset me.
Above: some more pics from Montreal.

Last night I went to the screening of AMC's new show, Hustle. The show has been on primetime in Britain and premieres in the states (for at least 18 episodes) starting Saturday. The acting is fab, the plot stays ahead of you, it's funny, the camera shots are unique and fun, and the music (which is composed by one of the Fiennes brothers) accentuates the whole "cool" tone of the thing. Think Oceans 11. I met all of the actors who are delightful and nice. The African American actor is supposedly pretty famous over yonder and does musicals! I guess he has quite a fan base here too. The woman in it is very sweet and gorgeous (not a flaw) and was talking to us about how she shot that episode two years ago right out of drama school and she was nervous about kissing a guy on it and her chest broke out into hives. I laughed because that is what happens to me when I get nervous. I also chatted with several writers, including a writer on The Sopranos, who said as I was leaving: "You are very old-fashioned." Um, what? "It's a compliment." Ok. Thanks. "Aren't you sick of people telling you you're fuckin' beautiful?" Uh. Well, thank you. Julie: this is like that compliment I give to you and Amanda about being "unique looking." :) I also was able to flirt with a bigwigs Irish boyfriend. So sweet and there is something about that accent. He works for Pepsi. Oh, and I got a Hustle money clip. So proud of Jan for landing this AMC gig. I was very impressed last night. And with her show it ain't gonna be no co-production. World Premiere all the way. I better get an audition.
