He's Off!

My brother left on Saturday for Iraq. I just got an email from him. He's somewhere in the middle of the ocean. It will take the ship about a month to get over there. He will be teaching Criminal Justice (his major) on the way there and on the way back. So proud of him.

In other news, I just finished up "Good Mourning, America" at Queens Theatre and The Culture Project. Awaiting the feedback...there were a couple theatres looking at it and Eric Bogosian was also in attendance. Good crowd and they seem to have stuck with it. My question is: do people really want to see plays about 9/11?

In a completely different genre...I begin rehearsals on The President and Her Mistress, a comedy in which I play a nanoprobe. What is that you ask? Come see it and you'll find out!

Feeling a bit like my pal, Julie: tired and depressed. Bogged down. Back kills. Etc. Going back to therapy for a couple of sessions...that is, until I can't pay my rent. Ah, the trials and tribulations of existing on this planet.
